At its core, every Rail Auto Canada shipment is the same: your car travels on Canada's CN rail network between two of our 8 terminals, secured in an enclosed autorack, on a fixed schedule — never driven on a highway, with virtually nothing added to the odometer. Insurance and terminal handling are included in every quote.

The service levels above only change the first and last few kilometres. Terminal-to-terminal keeps the price lowest because you handle those ends yourself. Home pickup and home delivery hand them to a local carrier partner at fixed, pre-set rates — we hold rate cards for 58+ communities around our terminals, so the add-on price is quoted instantly in the wizard, not negotiated later.
