At its core, every Rail Auto Canada service is the same: we move your car from one of our 8 terminals to another, by rail, on a fixed schedule. Booking happens online at shipmycar.railautocanada.ca. You enter your origin and destination, your vehicle details, and the dates that work for you. You receive an instant quote, choose a drop-off window, and confirm with secure online payment. From there, you'll receive your terminal address, intake instructions, and tracking access — and after you drop your car off, the rest happens on our side.
Standard cargo insurance is included with every shipment. Higher- value vehicle coverage upgrades are available at booking. We never sub-contract your shipment to a broker, and we never put your car on a highway between terminals.
