Common Questions

How long does shipping take?

Total time from drop-off to ready-for-pickup is typically 2 to 4 weeks depending on the route. This includes waiting for the next scheduled train departure (up to 10 days), rail transit (3–14 days depending on distance), and 2–3 days for destination processing.

What’s included in the price?

Everything — rail transport, insurance, terminal handling, vehicle inspection, and real-time tracking. Tax is shown separately in your quote. No hidden fees, no fuel surcharge add-ons, no surprise costs.

Can I track my vehicle?

Yes. Every shipment includes real-time tracking through your personal client portal. You also receive automated email and SMS updates at every milestone — vehicle received, loaded, in transit, arrived, and ready for pickup.

Is my car insured during shipping?

Yes. Insurance is included with every shipment at no extra cost. Coverage is in effect from the moment your vehicle is received at the origin terminal until it’s handed over to you at the destination.

Can I put personal belongings in my car?

No. The vehicle must be empty of all personal items — no electronics, clothing, luggage, or valuables. Personal belongings are not insured and may result in refused loading at the terminal.

What vehicles do you accept?

We ship sedans, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and pickup trucks up to F-350 class. Vehicles must be fully operational, under 25 years old, and have at least 6 inches of ground clearance. We do not ship motorcycles, commercial vehicles, or non-running cars.

How much fuel should be in the tank?

Fuel must be at or below 1/4 tank at drop-off. This is a rail safety requirement. For electric vehicles, the battery should be charged to approximately 85% — not full, not near empty.

What do I need to bring to drop-off?

Your vehicle at or below 1/4 tank of fuel, one set of keys, valid government-issued photo ID, and your job number from your booking confirmation. Remove all personal belongings before arriving.

How does payment work?

Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Payment is processed securely online through your client portal. We accept credit and debit cards. The quote you see already includes all fees — tax is shown separately.

What’s the difference between terminal and door-to-door?

Terminal-to-terminal is our most affordable option — you drop off and pick up at our rail terminals. Door-to-door means we arrange a local carrier to pick up from your home and deliver to your destination address. You can also mix and match — home pickup with terminal delivery, or vice versa.
