Choose it at booking and a licensed local carrier partner collects your car at your address and transports it to the origin rail terminal, where it enters the exact same intake process as every other vehicle: condition inspection, photos, paperwork, and assignment to the next scheduled departure on the CN network.

After you book, a local carrier partner arranges your pickup window directly with you, typically with 24 hours advance notice. The collection is timed so your vehicle reaches the origin terminal for its assigned drop-off date — you don't need to coordinate anything with the terminal yourself.

Do I need to be there in person?▼

You or someone you authorize needs to hand over one set of keys and be present for the condition walk-around at collection. Everything after that — the drive to the terminal, intake paperwork, loading — happens on our side.
